School Uniform

At Springwell School we take great pride in wearing our school uniform. Our uniform shows that we belong to this school and can be easily identified by others. We understand the importance of dressing smart and how this can affect our behaviour.

YEARS 1-6

School Uniform
White school shirt or polo shirt
Black or dark grey school skirt
Black school trousers
White socks or black tights
Purple school sweatshirt, jumper or cardigan
Black shoes NO trainers & NO boots
Headdress plain white/black/purple


Summer Uniform

White school shirt or polo shirt
Checked school dress
Black or dark grey school skirt
Grey or black school shorts

 

PE Kit
•Grey T-Shirt (with school crest where possible)
Black shorts
Plimsolls, Black trainers
Plain sweatshirt, jogging bottoms for winter

 

RECEPTION

The children should wear:
• White polo shirt or blouse
• Grey or black jogging bottoms/skirt
• Purple school sweatshirt or cardigan
• Purple summer dress or tailored grey shorts (not football shorts)
• Black sensible school shoes: NO trainers & NO boots

NURSERY

The children should wear:
• White polo shirt or blouse
• Grey or black jogging bottoms/skirt
• Gold Nursery sweatshirt
• Purple summer dress
• Black sensible school shoes or trainers; NO boots

ACCESSORIES

• Hairbands must be black, white, grey or purple
• Religious headwear must be black, white, grey or purple
• Socks must be black, grey or white
• PE bags must be small drawstring bags, not rucksacks – storage space is limited
• Book bags must be small velcro sealed bags, not rucksacks – storage space is limited.
• Water drinking bottles and peaked caps for the summer can be purchased from the school office.

JEWELLERY

• Jewellery is not allowed in school, this includes watches
• If your child has pierced ears, ONLY studs are acceptable; please ensure they are NOT worn on PE days as a safety precaution
• Religious bangles are allowed but must be covered on PE days
